From an idea born in 2018, the collaboration between e. Luterbach AG and CSEM (Centre Suisse d'Électronique et de Microtechnique) enabled the development of this unique profile identification technology.

The development project ended at the end of 2022 with the completion of the app and was funded by Innosuisse, the Swiss innovation funding agency. By identifying profiles quickly and accurately, deepProfile saves significant time and costs in the development of profiles, helps to easily move existing profiles into new geographic markets, and improves efficiency in the handling of manufacturing processes.
